Summer bootcamps for JPL+ and Pro Academy youth players: the start of a bespoke Individual Development Plan that runs alongside your club environment.
This is not just drills and technical skills. It's game understanding, confidence, motivation, and the fine-tuning of details that no systemic coaching approach will ever show you.
The Reality
Academies talk about Individual Development Plans, but most do not have the bandwidth, capacity or know-how to deliver true IDP at player level. JPL and Development Centre environments offer even less.
What players actually get is team-system coaching: shape, patterns, and squad needs. Important, but it won't show you the subtle signals, the micro-movements, or the psychological barriers holding you back. Not the finetuning that separates players at selection time.
When selection and review stages arrive, the gap shows. Players are dropped, often brutally, without ever having had the individual clarity or development structure to compete on their own terms.
Squad-first coaching, limited 1:1 bandwidth, IDP paperwork without genuine player-level delivery.
Even less individual focus: volume coaching, shared sessions, and minimal structured development planning.
A parallel IDP pathway alongside your club coaching: game understanding, confidence, creativity and player-level detail that systemic environments cannot deliver.
The Full Picture
Academy and JPL coaching is built around the group: systems, shapes, and squad outcomes. It was never designed to uncover what makes you tick as an individual player: how you read the game, what kills your confidence on the pitch, or the tiny adjustments that unlock your best performances.
This bootcamp and the IDP that follows cover all of it. Game understanding. Motivation. Releasing the inhibitions that stop you expressing yourself. The subtle signals and movements that elite players use, but that no whiteboard session or generic drill sheet will ever point out.
Yes, there is technical work, but it's hyper-specific to you. Not catalogue coaching. Not one-size-fits-all repetition.
It's Leon down on his belly analysing your foot as it strikes the ball. It's about releasing inhibitions on the pitch to embrace creativity. It's the details: the ones no systemic approach will ever show you.
Reading situations, anticipating play, and making decisions under pressure, not just knowing where to stand in a system.
Understanding what drives you, what holds you back, and building the mindset to perform when selection pressure is at its highest.
Micro-movements, body shape, timing and signals: the finetuning that separates players at elite youth level, invisible to systemic coaching.
Releasing inhibitions to play with freedom and expression, not just executing patterns, but trusting your instincts in real moments.
Sample Output
The IDP captures everything, not just session design, but game understanding, confidence work, and the proof that development transfers to matches. Built around one player's profile and pathway.
Sample IDP output: illustrative player analysis.
Phased training built from your profile: technical detail, coaching cues and session evidence. The drills are the vehicle; the development is in the how, the constraints, and the player-specific finetuning.
Surface-level drills become hyper-specific work, down to how your foot strikes the ball, not just what drill you're running.
Training connected to real match moments, so development is measured by what transfers under pressure, not just what looks good in practice.
The IDP tracks whether trained patterns actually show up in matches: your first match-transfer data points, not guesswork.
The bootcamp builds your IDP foundations (who you are as a player, how you think, what you need) before your 6- or 12-month season plan begins.
Your playing identity and how you impact games, not how a squad system wants you to play.
How you read the game, recognise patterns, and make decisions: the intelligence side no team session prioritises.
What separates you and what's holding you back, including the subtle details systemic coaching never surfaces.
Confidence, creativity, motivation and technical finetuning, structured into a roadmap for the months ahead.
Bootcamp → Season IDP
The summer bootcamp launches your 6- or 12-month IDP, using the post-season and pre-season transition for the high-value work your club environment cannot give you individually.
This runs in parallel with your team coaching. You keep training with your club. We give you the individual development structure, analysis and plan that sits alongside it, so you're prepared when selection comes, not surprised by it.
Ideal for a defined seasonal push: role transition, trial preparation, or targeted work on game understanding, confidence, or technical finetuning.
A year-long bespoke pathway, deeper profiling, ongoing review, and sustained progress across pre-season, in-season and off-season phases.
Youth elite tier players at JPL+ or within a Professional Academy: who need true IDP delivery and cannot rely on their club environment to provide it.
Especially those facing, or preparing for, selection reviews, release decisions, or the next step up, and who want individual clarity before those moments define their pathway.
Summer bootcamps are premium-tier, paid programmes. We will also offer a limited number of scholarship grant places for outstanding players who may not otherwise access this level of support.
